Carlea Theatre Arts provides a wide range of dance classes that welcome all abilities from walking through to adult to participate in. All pupils from Little Stars upwards have the opportunity to participate in our regular shows we produce at The Playhouse Theatre. Pupils also have the opportunity to take Graded examinations following the I.S.T.D. syllabus in Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre and Contemporary Dance, and Medal Examinations in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Street Dance, and Choreography with the UKA. We offer 1:1 and duo singing lessons where pupils have the opportunity to take Musical Theatre graded examinations with Trinity College London should they so wish.
We have successfully provided group and personal tuition for many years. All of our teachers have had years of professional experience in the industry and are fully qualified.
From first time dancers to vocational level, we welcome all abilities from walking through to adult to come and enjoy our friendly and professional environment.
Our aim is for pupils to achieve their maximum potential, realise the enjoyment and confidence that dance and performance can bring; culminating in a professional or teaching career for those wishing to pursue that route.
