Street Dance

Today Street Dance is at the forefront of the commercial industry. You will see this style of dance used regularly in music videos and lots on TV. In these classes you can expect to learn skills such as Hip Hop, House, Breakin, Jazz Funk, Poppin, Locking, Waackin and Wavin, along with how to link these skills with steps to form choreographed routines. Students have the opportunity to take graded examinations with iD Dance and medal examinations with the UKA as well as performance opportunities. Students will be encouraged to create their own unique style and freestyle in these classes.
